Information we collect

You can browse, tune and copy prompts without an account. We collect the following only when it applies to you:

• Account information: when you sign in with email, we store your email address. When you sign in with Google, GitHub or X, we receive your account identifier and, where provided, your name, email address and avatar.
• China edition only: if you sign in by phone or WeChat, we store your phone number or WeChat identifier; if you buy an activation code, we store the order record (amount, status, payment channel). We never receive your full card or bank details.
• Activity you choose to save: favorites, reactions and saved prompt variable configurations tied to your account.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, referring page and request timestamps, recorded by our hosting provider and analytics tools for security and performance.
• Local storage: after you sign in, a session token is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay logged in. Signing out removes it.

How we use information

• Provide the Site: authenticate you, keep your favorites and saved configurations, and process activation purchases.
• Send one-time verification codes to your email or phone.
• Measure traffic and improve content and features through aggregated analytics.
• Show advertising on the international edition (see below).
• Prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents, and comply with legal obligations.

Cookies and advertising

The international edition (getprompttuner.com) displays ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet. Google and its partners may also use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to measure ad performance and limit how often you see an ad.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices or, in the EU, www.youronlinechoices.eu. If you opt out, you may still see non-personalized ads.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, device type). Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga. See how Google uses data. You can block it with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or your browser's cookie settings.

Consent for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before advertising cookies are used to personalize ads. You can accept, reject or customize your choices, and change them at any time using the "Privacy settings" link in the site footer.

Our legal bases for processing are your consent (advertising and analytics cookies), performance of a contract (providing your account and purchases), and our legitimate interests (security and improving the Site).

Third parties we share data with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site:

• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, database and security.
• Google — AdSense advertising, Google Analytics, and Google sign-in.
• GitHub and X — optional sign-in.
• Resend — delivery of email verification codes.
• China edition: Alibaba Cloud (SMS codes), WeChat (sign-in) and WeChat Pay / Alipay (payments).

Prompt pages link to original community posts and to external image-generation platforms. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Data retention and security

Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days after you ask us to delete it, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. Verification codes expire within minutes. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access is restricted to what is needed to operate the Site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
